Geyser installation and replacement

New geysers for houses, flats, complexes and offices, installed with every valve and the drip tray done right.

Wall-mounted geyser installed above a modern bathroom with dark tiles

Most geysers that fail early fail because of something that was skipped when they went in. No drip tray, no vacuum breakers, an overflow pipe that ends in the roof space. We install the whole system, not just the tank.

We supply and fit electric geysers in high and low pressure, for a straight swap of a geyser that has given up or for a brand new installation in a home, flatlet or office.

What we get called for

  • Replacing a burst geyser

Old unit out, new one in, often the same day.

  • New geyser installations

Adding hot water to a cottage, flatlet, new bathroom or office kitchen.

  • Upgrading to a bigger geyser

When the family has grown and the hot water runs out halfway through the second shower.

  • Moving a geyser

Out of a tight roof space or closer to the bathroom it feeds.

What a proper installation includes

  1. 1

A drip tray with its own drain, so a future leak goes outside and not through your ceiling.

  2. 2

Pressure control valve, safety valve and vacuum breakers, all fitted and set for your property's water pressure.

  3. 3

Overflow pipes that end where you can see them, plus a clean electrical connection with an isolator.

Common questions

What size geyser do I need?

It depends on how many people live in the house and how many bathrooms there are. We will look at how you use hot water and suggest a size that fits.

Can you take the old geyser away?

Yes. We remove the old unit when we install the new one.

Is the installation done to standard?

Yes. We install to SANS and municipal requirements, with the valves, drip tray and overflows they call for.
